im in the tennis team which is alot of fun like going to other school and competing against them and trying to win, but at the same time it can be a workout. i also helpout with the softball team for  second semester,that is also fun because i can learn from it.

Im 16 years old and  I grew up in Los Angeles California. My culture is cantonese and I also speak a little bit of my parents language. I live with my parents and two sisters. My dad’s last name is Ying hua Xiao and my mom’s name is Fang Jie Yun. I also have two sisters name Erica and Amy, so that makes me the oldest one. In my moms family she is the youngest of her brothers and sisters and my dads family he is the middle. Well my family is pretty big I know that one of my uncle lives in san Francisco and my other uncle lives in new York, and I think the rest of my family members lives right here in Los Angeles. My life has been a rough road in my life because the sad thing that has ever happen to me was when I was in the 7^th grade when my mom’s mom (aka my grandma) past away. That day was very sad to me because my grandma has taken care of me and my cousins and sisters when we were younger. Another sad thing that has happened to me was just a couple of months ago when my mom’s dad (aka my grandpa) past away too. Things like this is sad and not a good thing. I loved my grandparents so much because they took care of my sisters, my cousins, and I when we were all younger. There have been happy times when I ran for homecoming lady and I was happy and excited because I got to ride in a limo for the very first time and I got a sash and they announce my name. That day was so fun and I enjoyed it. Another happy time was when I went camping for a couple of days. It was sad at first because I couldn’t see my parents and at the same time I was happy because I got to have a fun summer and meet new people. Growing up is a really great thing because you are going to experience new things that you would have never thought of trying. You get to try new things and try new things and also you can get to go to new places. But growing up for me was interesting because bad and good thing has happened to me which was   kind of strange for some reasons. Throughout going to elementary school, middle school, and high school, a lot of my friends has given me strange nicknames and really nice ones that I really nice. The nicknames that have been given to me since elementary school to high school was like Chou mein cuz of my last name, one was jen, jenjen which was given to me by one of my best friend in high school, and the most common nickname that my friends call me is jenny, which I like cuz people doesn’t have to say or spell out my long name. the language that I speak at home is English and Cantonese and at school well English and I know a little bit of Spanish, mandarin and some of my parents language which I don’t know what its call in English. being here today is amazing because i made alot of friends and being here with my family which i love the most.
